Missing the long salty hair, the sunshine, the warm weather, the sand (erk not that much actually), and the sea from Greece. Missing wearing my bikinis and pretending being a lifeguard on the beach. Spent two incredible weeks in Crete at the Creta Beach Hotel next to Heraklion and I realized I didn't enjoy it as much as I should have. I love Greece so much, it was my second time here but this time I haven't visited that much, I wanted to do nothing (farniente) and enjoy my time in the club I was staying in. I just went to the city twice and discovered Knossos ruins. I'm sure it's not the most beautiful part of the island but I wasn't in the mood to travel all around Crete. I was so tired from my last year of uni, I just needed to sleep and sunbath ahah. My next article will be about the city of Heraklion (where to go, what to see and what to do). Do you already miss Summer ? Because I do (even though I love fall clothes and it means that Christmas is near)

I'm back here after (almost) a year ! It was an intense one that's why I couldn't post that much but I traveled and discovered new places during all this time. I went to Amsterdam with my friends on April for 2 days and I recommend this time of the year to visit this city as it's a gentle and warm weather. We booked a flat on Airbnb and it was not that easy to find one. Definitely book your stay earlier than us. You cannot got there at the last minute otherwise. I didn't know what to expect when I rode here and oh my god. I was so surprised to love it. Amsterdam got my heart, it's the cutest capital ever. The people who live there are nice and the lifestyle is amazing. This city is totally how I'd like to live my life someday.

If you go there, rent bikes and visit the city this way, it's the most practical and you'll feel like the Dutch. There are so many healthy cafés, restaurants where you can eat. We found one called Café Trust and you can pay as you feel. The concept is innovative and vegans can eat there (as long as I can remember, so it's a yes for me). We also ate at Mook Pancakes, it's not healthy and vegan at all but it's so tasty and delicious. You will not regret. If you want to visit some museum, I recommend the one about Vincent Van Gogh. Don't forget to stop by the house of Anne Frank (which is kind of overwhelming but you learn about her). I felt like a new person when I got outta here. Totally worth the line (book your tickets before your journey because I was about to faint when I saw people queuing).  For the best view, ride to the NEMO Science Museum (I think it's called this way). You can see the entire city from there.

If you wanna hang out, go to the red district at night. There are lots of bars and pubs and it's something everyone has to see. I didn't expect that at all.

Finally, take your time and enjoy the city. Wander around the canals and breath the fresh air. If you've visited or are going to visit Amsterdam, please tell me in the comments what you like the most about this city. I hope this guide will help you and that you'll love Amsterdam as much as I loved it. I'm definitely going back there soon.

PS: If you wanna see the most beautiful tulips fields, you have to go outside. It's in the suburb but we didn't have enough time so I don't have any picture to show you.

Say goodbye to November, you'll not be missed, and smile to December (which means Starbucks red cups are baaaaaack) ! Yaaaaay my favorite time of the year is finally here. Already went to see the Christmas lights in Paris on Avenue Montaigne, the decorations and the big Christmas tree at the Galeries Lafayette. Isn't it so magical and wonderful ?  Thus, to celebrate the most beautiful time of the year, I thought it was a great idea to show you my Christmas playlist. Hi guys ! I just wanted to show you my favorite outfit from my trip to Rome. This look is so me, casual but classy at the same time and that's why I love it. It makes me think of a typical Parisian girl outfit, it might be because of the cap, the red lips (Lady Danger by Mac, my faaaaaave) and the stripes top. Don't you think Caroline de Maigret could rock this look ? Because I do. I'm so in love with my cap and my new boots from Zara (I'm an addict, find me a cure right now). Anyway, have a great afternoon :) x

Aaaaaaah, Roma, la dolce vita... I can't tell you how much I love Italy and it's just my second time there. I visited Rome in October and the weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cold. It just rained once and just a little bit. Rome is the definition of the word "culture". Indeed, there are so many things to see, so many things to visit that you can't do everything ! Everywhere I went, I had little stars twinkling in my eyes. If you wanna visit the Colosseum and the Vatican Museum, I recommend you to book your tickets in advance, you won't have to queue then (yep, great tip). Anyway, enough talking, here are my favorite spots. First, you have to go to the Trevi Fountain but this place is so crowded so go there early in the morning if you want to make the most of it and take beautiful pictures. Then, go to Piazza Navona, one of the most beautiful places in Rome (my favorite), there are a lot of restaurants, cafés to have a break, a nice spot even though it's a bit expensive. If you want to shop, walk to via del Corso and Via dei Condotti if you're more into luxurious brands. It's a bit busy but the streets are nice. I hated the metro in Roma, there are only two lines and they don't always come... So favor walking, I did it so you can do it. Now I'm gonna give you my favorite adresses to eat. First, you have to try the restaurant "Il Chianti", it's next to the Trevi Fountain, the spot is romantic and really beautiful. Then, what would be a trip to Italy without having an ice cream ? I was craving one so I went to the oldest ice cream maker of Rome: Giolitti and O to the M to the G, best gelati ever ! It was delicious and the chantilly on top was to die for. One of my favorite restaurants during my stay in Rome (I went there twice) was close to my hotel (the Montecarlo Hotel): "Steak House cucina tipica romana dal 1932" on via Montebello. If you want to take beautiful pictures of the Piazza San Pietro, don't forget to go upstairs. If not, you'll miss this view. It was so breathtaking and it's not that pricey, around 8 euros if you take the elevator and only 6 euros if you climb the stairs if I remember. Finally, the Romans are really welcoming and charming. I'm French and I didn't even have to talk in English as they all were fluent in French, so great news ! I definitely had the best Roman holiday ever, I felt like a mix of Audrey Hepburn and Lizzie McGuire. I almost cried when I went to La Bocca Della Verita as it's my favorite moment in Roman Holiday.
